Holiday Tree Lighting Ceremony

The New York State Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation is pleased to announce that the Annual Holiday Tree Lighting at Orient Beach State Park will be held on Friday, December 5, 2025 at 4:00pm. All are welcome to enjoy music, snacks, and hot cocoa prior to the lighting of the tree by Santa Claus at 5:00pm. In the spirit of the season, there will be a collection of coats and canned food items for families in need. Any donations are welcomed and appreciated.
